Lachlan Hamilton
Lachlan Hamilton has played an important role in Hornsby North Public School's band program since 2010, as both a saxophone tutor and conductor. Receiving a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance in 2009, Lachlan brings over 15 years of experience teaching saxophone and conducting primary, high school, and community bands. Currently, he holds the positions of Director of Ensembles at Killarney Heights High School and Band Director at Hornsby North Public School. Additionally, he lends his conducting expertise to the bands at Turramurra High School. In recognition of his commitment to music education, Lachlan served on the committee of the NSW Branch of the Australian Band and Orchestra Directors Association (ABODA NSW) from 2020 to 2023. Lachlan Hamilton's approach to music education is grounded in a genuine passion for fostering musical talent and creating a positive learning experience for students.

Patrick Muldrew
A brass instrumentalist and singer, Patrick studied at the Conservatorium of Music in Sydney, graduating in 2006. Private teaching since 1999, he has taught a wide variety of students and bands at differing levels of age and experience. Patrick’s conducting started while at Turramurra HS under the mentorship of Jim Wiseman and he has since gone on to conduct and teach at many schools, both private and public including Oxford Falls Grammar, William Clarke College & Pennant Hills HS. Currently Patrick is an instrumental teacher at Loreto Normanhurst and Barker College as well as a conductor at Hornsby North PS, where he takes the Junior and Intermediate Bands. Both of these groups have achieved great success at band festivals such as the Australian School Band and Orchestra Festival.

Josh Hughes
Joshua has recently moved to Asquith from the Northern Beaches of Sydney to be closer to Barker College where he is conducting their Senior Wind Orchestra, and has also conducted in the Junior and Middle Schools across their Wind Bands and Jazz Bands. At Barker Joshua teaches Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba and Jazz Piano. Joshua did 4.5 years of tertiary study at the Christchurch Jazz School in New Zealand and Sydney Conservatorium, studying Performance Jazz Trumpet, Jazz Piano and Jazz Arranging. Since 2014, Joshua has been passionately building low brass in his programs, and playing Tuba and Eupho in A Grade Wind and Brass Bands. One of his Tuba students has gone on to win a highly sought after position at the Australian National Academy of Music, a casual contract with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and now a full time Tuba position with the Royal Australian Navy Band.
